Sheep Planter Pot


Because I am a Huge Fan of Sheep, I created the design of sheep. Here I show you how to do it with the help of Tinkercad software. Let's get started!



Materials:

The Crescent

Grab a torus. Scale it into the length of 127.62 mm, the width of 57.90 mm, and the height of 150.81 mm. Grab a cylinder and make it a hole. Make the length of 128.72 mm, the width of 231.58 mm, and the height of 152.11 mm. Group them together.

The Crescent's Face

Grab a half sphere for the eyes. Scale it into the length of 11.58 mm, the width of 11.58 mm, and the height of 5.79 mm. Duplicate it into 2. For the nose, grab a sphere. Make it the diameter of 4.63 mm. Grab a mustache from the characters tab. It is optional. 

Scale it into the length of 3.50 mm, the width of 19.43 mm, and the height of 4.63 mm. Grab a sphere for the mouth. Scale it into the length of 6.68 mm, the width of 13.89 mm, and the height of 5.09 mm. 

Duplicate it and rescale it (because the bottom lip is smaller than the upper lip) into the width of 13.89 mm, the length of 8.73 mm, and the height of 5.55 mm. Arrange them all proportionally as in the picture.

The Crescent's Hat - 1

Grab a paraboloid. Scale it into the width of 62.53 mm, the length of 61.37 mm, and the height of 53.26 mm. Drag a sphere. 

Scale it into the width of 37.05 mm, the length of 68.85 mm, and the height of 17.37 mm. Rotate it 22.5 degrees. See the picture. Drag another sphere. Make the diameter of 23.16 mm. Group them altogether.

The Crescent's Hat – 2

Put the hat on the crescent body. Duplicate the crescent body and make it a hole. Group them together.

The Sheep

There are some steps to make the Sheep. The result will be like this.

The Head

To create the head, drag and drop sphere into the workplane. For the size, see the picture. Rotate 15 degrees as shown in the picture.

The Ears

For the ears, use sphere and scale it as shown in the picture. Put it in the upper side of Sheep's head. Rotate 45 degrees as shown in the picture. Duplicate it into 2.

The Face

To make a face, you need eyes and mouth. For the eyes, use a sphere and duplicate it. To make a mouth, use round roof and duplicate it for holing. For the scale, see the picture.

The Body

For the main part of the body, use a cylinder and grab another cylinder for the holes. Group them together. Make the details for the Sheep's wool. I use a sphere for the wool. 

Copy and paste it as many as you want. Play around with the scale and the position. The final result should be in the picture. It is very difficult to explain it in words, so I embedded my design in Tinkercad. 

Therefore, you can see the exact measurement. Lastly, do not forget to add the Sheep's tail by using a sphere.

The Front Legs

For 1 front leg, use 2 spheres and make them the shape of ellipses. For the scaling, see the picture. 

Do not forget to rotate it and group both of them together. Attach the body and duplicate it to create 2 front legs.

The Back Legs

For 1 back leg, you need 3 spheres, too and make it a shape of ellipses. For the scaling, see the picture. 

Do not forget to rotate it and group both of them together. Attach the body and duplicate it to create 2 back legs.

The Blue Cloud

Grab a sphere. Scale it into the length of 77.92 mm, the width of 77.63 mm, and the height of 40.18 mm. Grab a cylinder and make the diameter into 87 mm and the height of 81.93 mm. 

To make the details, use spheres as accessories for the cloud. The size is up to you. Play around with it. Copy 1 layer of the cloud twice, so you have 3 layers of the cloud. Group them altogether. See the picture as final result.

The Grey Cloud

Grab a sphere and scale it into the length of 770.2 mm, the width of 77.22 mm, and the height of 35.31 mm. Grab another sphere and scale it into the length of 81.23 mm, the width of 81.44 mm, and the height of 41.38 mm. 

Make it a hole and group the spheres altogether. To make the details, use spheres as accessories for the cloud. The size is up to you. Play around with it. Group them altogether. See the picture as final result.

The Base

Grab a box. Scale it into the width of 212 mm, the length of 190 mm, and the height of 30 mm. 

Grab another box and scale it into the height of 17 mm, the width of 170 mm, and length of 192 mm. Make it a hole and group them together.

Printing

Before printing, save and export the selected object to .stl file and print it. Open the Dremel Digilab 3D Slicer. Make sure the object is on the base. Choose the print setup.

I choose "High Speed", Infill: Gradual, Tick the "Generate Support". Tick the build plate adhesion, click prepare and send to printer.

Assemble

Assemble all parts that we already printed before by gluing with hot glue.

Planting

To make it prettier, you need to prepare the planting. Add some soil and little rock to the pot. Plant it with some flowers and plants.

bunny and panda tea bag holder
Do you have a problem when you are making your own tea? Are you having trouble with the tea bag's thread? I think there is a fun and great solution for this. 



3D Printed Monster Truck Tea Bag Holder

We can use 3D printing object to solve this problem. I will show you how to make tea bag holder and the result is cool and fantastic. In this project, I made 3 different tea bag holders.



Supplies

Dremel 3D40 Printer
Dremel Digilab 3D Slicer
Tinkercad Software
Blue, black, red, white, gold, and green pla filaments
Black Sharpie
1 Paper Clip
Hot glue gun
Mugs (for display only)
Tea bags (for display only)

Monster Truck

There are some steps to make tea bag holder with monster truck. The result will be like this.

Wheels 

Drag and drop a cylinder to the workplane. Make a measurement as follows:
Height: 16.20 mm
Width: 10.99 mm
Length: 16.20 mm

Drag and drop another cylinder to the workplane. Make a measurement as follows:
Height: 14.09 mm
Width: 19.17 mm
Length: 14.09 mm

Make it a hole. Align and group them. Drag and drop a wheel. Scale it to the diameter of 24.29 mm and the width of 11.34 mm. Grab a cylinder. 

Scale it into the diameter of 16.20 mm and the width of 11.90 mm. Align and group them together. Put the rim to the tire. Align them. 

For the tire threads, use box from the shape menu and the size is 5mm of length, 2mm of height and 5 mm of width. Rotate it 45 degrees. Copy and flip it. Group them together. 

Copy them once, and after that, make smart copy around the wheel for 14 times.

Frame

Make the frame by grabbing a box. Scale it into the height of 13.77 mm, the width of 17.82 mm, and the length of 55.06 mm. Grab a wedge. 

Make it a hole and scale it into the height of 32.39 mm, the width of 23.48 mm, and the length of 32.39 mm. Duplicate and flip it horizontally. Group them with the frame. See the picture. 

Drag another wedge. Scale it into the height of 7.29 mm, the width of 76.12 mm, and the length of 8.10 mm. 

Also, drag a box and scale it into the height of 7.29 mm, the width of 68.02 mm, and the length of 14.58 mm. 

Duplicate the wedge. Flip and make them holes and group them together with the frame.

Axle

For the axle, drag and drop a cylinder.  Make the size of the cylinder 10 mm diameter and 1.62 mm width. Copy 3 times, so you have 4 axles in total. Set aside.

Body- Pt.1

Drag and drop a box to the workplane. Scale it into the width of 23.62 mm, the length of 64.78 mm, and the height of 10.66 mm. Make the radius of 3.  

Drag round roof and make the length of 11.27 mm, the width of 37.12 mm and the height of 4.79 mm. Copy to the other side of the box and make them holes. Group the holes and the body together.

Hood of the body

For the hood, drag and drop box. Make the radius of bevel 3. Scale the box with the length of 20.77 mm, the width of 21.05 mm, and the height of 3.24 mm. 

Drag a round roof to the workplane. Scale it with the length of 3.11 mm, the width of 21.05 mm, and the height of 6.48 mm. Group it with the hood.  

Make a hole using a box with length of 22.97 mm, width of 21.20 and the height of 19.44 mm. Put it on the middle- top of the body. Group it with the body.

Body- Pt.2

Continue to make the body of monster truck. Drag and drop box to the workplane and put it in the middle of the body to make passenger compartment tub. Make a hole and group them together.

Trunk

For the trunk of monster truck, drag and drop box to the workplane. Scale it with the size as follow:
Length: 21.05 mm
Width: 19.44 mm
Height: 32.39 mm
Make sure it passes to the bottom. Make it a hole. Group them together.

Seat

For seat, use 2 boxes. Make them 90 degrees angles for each other. For the scale, see the pictures.

Bumper

Drag and drop a box. Make the radius of 3. Scale it as shown in the picture. Drag and drop another box. Make it a hole and scale it as shown in the picture. Group them together. See the picture.

Holder 

For holder, drag and drop a box to the workplane. See the picture for the measurement. Copy it, so you have 2 pieces of boxes.

Truck's Cab

To make the truck's cab, you will need to drag 4 boxes into the workplane. Scale and group them as shown in the pictures. The cab's roof need to be beveled by using 3 metafillet and make them holes. For the windshield, use 2 wedges. Make one of them as a hole and group them together.

Printing Monster Truck

Save and export file to .stl file and print it, but for this time, print monster truck part by part of the body with different color. Choose three colors for the panda. I choose black, green, white, and red.

First, print the wheels, frame and axles. Next, print the body. In the body, I included hood, trunk, seat and bumper because they are small parts so it is very difficult to print separately. Later, print the trucks' cab and lastly, holders.

Open the Dremel Digilab 3D Slicer. Make sure the object is on the base. Choose the print setup.

I choose "medium quality", Infill: Gradual, Tick the build plate adhesion, and send to printer. I choose medium quality this time because high speed does not give a good result for smaller object.

Assemble

Glue all truck parts one by one using hot glue. See the picture. Finally, glue a paper clip to make truck's hook for hooking the tea bag's thread.

To make glass lid, drag and drop cylinder to the workplane. Scale it and make hole in the center.
For the scaling, see the pictures. To make the glass lid even prettier, you need to make lip by using another cylinder and make it a hole. 

Group them together until you get like in the picture. In addition, make a gap in the lid for inserting the tea bag's thread. Grab a box, make it a hole. Align and group it with the lid.

Save and export the glass lid file to .stl file and print it.
I have Dremel 3D Printer 3D 40. First, open the Dremel Digilab 3D Slicer. Make sure the object is on the base. Choose the print setup.

I choose "high speed", Infill: Gradual, Tick the build plate adhesion, and send to printer.

Panda Bear

There are some steps to make tea bag holder with Panda. The result will be like this.

Drag and drop a sphere to the workplane. Make a measurement as follows:
Height: 21.67
Width: 27.23
Length: 33.06

Head

For making the head, drag and drop second sphere to the workplane. The measurements are:
Height: 31.31
Width: 32.68
Length: 39.67
Put it above the body by aligning both of them.

Ears

To make the ears, drag and drop a round roof to the workplane. Scale it into height of 5mm, width of 4mm, and length of 7mm. Put it into the head of the panda. Rotate it 22.5 degrees to the left. 

Duplicate and flip it to make the other side of ear. Align both of them. If you print separately, like I did, make a hole by using the head of the panda itself, so that the ears will go nicely onto the head of panda.

Muzzle

For the muzzle, drag and drop a sphere into the workplane. Scale it into the height of 9.63mm, the width of 9.36mm, and the length of 15.87mm. Attach it to the head.

Nose

To make the nose, grab a sphere and scale it into the diameter of 3 mm. Put it onto the muzzle.

Mouth

To make the mouth, drag a round roof to the workplane. Scale it into the height of 3mm, the width of 3mm, and the length of 7mm. Duplicate it and make it into a hole. 

Scale it into the height of 3.5mm, the width of 3mm, and the length of 7mm. Group them together. Put the mouth to the muzzle. Rescale the height of 2mm.

Eyes

To make the eyes, drag a sphere into the workplane. Scale it into the diameter of 5mm. Stick it to the head. Duplicate and move it until you get the right position for both eyes.

Neck

To make the neck, grab a cylinder to the workplane and scale to the diameter of 20 mm and the height of 2 mm. Duplicate it and make it a hole. 

Scale to the diameter of 19.23 mm and the height of 3 mm. Group them together. Put the neck to the body.

Hands

Grab a paraboloid. Scale it into the height of 7mm, the width of 7mm, and length of 15mm. Rotate it until it is -15 degrees.  Put it into the panda's body. 

Duplicate and flip it. Move it until it is symmetrical. Duplicate the panda's body and make it a hole. Group them together.

Bamboo

Grab a cylinder into the workplane. Scale the diameter of 5mm and the height of 45mm. Rotate to 45 degree. Stick it to the panda's body. 

I add with asteroid shape for the outer side of bamboo, but it is optional.

Legs

Drag a sphere into the workplane. Scale the diameters of 9mm. Put it to the panda's body and duplicate the leg. 

Duplicate the panda's body and make it a hole. Group the legs and the hole together.

Printing Panda

Save and export the Panda file to .stl file and print it, but for this time, print panda part by part of the body with different color. Choose three colors for the panda. I choose black, green, and white.

First, print the head. In the head, I included eyes, muzzle, nose, and mouth because they are small parts so it is very difficult to print separately. Second, print the body. Next, print the neck, hands, ears, legs, and lastly, bamboo.

Open the Dremel Digilab 3D Slicer. Make sure the object is on the base. Choose the print setup.

Assemble Panda

Glue all body part of panda one by one using hot glue gun. See the picture. Use a black Sharpie to draw the eyes, nose, and mouth.

Bunny

There are some steps to make tea bag holder with Bunny. The result will be like this.

Head

Drag a sphere into the workplane. Scale it into the diameter of 40mm.

Body

Drag a rounded cube into the workplane. Scale it into 32 mm in all faces. Grab a metafillet and make bevel to the upper part of body, so the body is a little bit rounded. The measurement of metafillet is shown in the picture. Attach the head to the body.

Eyes

Drag and drop sphere to workplane. The diameter of the sphere is 5mm. Attach the eyes to the head. Duplicate and move it until you get the right position for both eyes.

Muzzle

For the muzzle, drag and drop a sphere into the workplane. Scale it into the height of 6mm, the width of 11mm, and the length of 12mm. Attach it to the head.

Nose

To make the nose, grab a roof and scale it into the height of 2 mm and the width and length of 4mm each. Put it onto the muzzle.

Mouth

Drag and drop tube to the workplane. Measure the height of 4.02 mm, the width of 3.01 mm, and the length of 5 mm. Drag a cylinder and make a hole of it. 

Cut it into the shape like mustache. For the size, see the picture.

Ears

Drag a paraboloid to the workplane for making the ear. Copy and flip it 180 degrees. Put them together. Rotate 90 degrees. Shorten the width into 4.75 mm and make the length of 14 mm and height of 41 mm. 

Copy and resize it into the width of 4.05 mm, the length of 11.95 mm, and the height of 35 mm. Align them. Make it into a hole. Group them together. 

Stick the ears to the head of the bunny. Duplicate the ear. Put it onto the other side.

Legs

Drag a sphere into the workplane. Scale the diameters of 9.12 mm and the height of 14.60 mm, so it looks like an ellipse. Put it to the bunny's body. Add three more half sphere to become toes. 

For the dimension of toes, see the pictures. Rotate the toes until the flat parts face to the body. Duplicate the leg and toes. Attach them to the body.

Hands

Drag and drop sphere to the workplane. Make the sphere become ellipse with the size:
Height 5.54 mm
Length 15.47 mm
Width 7.68 mm

Rotate 22.5 degrees vertically and 33 degrees horizontally. Make a copy. Stick it to the bunny's body. You created two hands.

Carrot

For making a carrot, drag and drop a paraboloid and heart to the workplane. Make the size as shown in the pictures.

Printing Bunny

Save and export the Bunny file to .stl file and print it, but for this time, print bunny part by part of the body. Choose two colors for the bunny. I choose blue and red.

First, print the head. In the head, I included eyes, muzzle, nose, ears, and mouth because they are small parts so it is very difficult to print separately. Second, print the body. In the body, I included legs and hands. Lastly, print carrot.

Open the Dremel Digilab 3D Slicer. Make sure the object is on the base. Choose the print setup.

I choose "medium quality", Infill: Gradual, Tick the build plate adhesion and support, and send to printer.

Assemble bunny

Glue all body part of bunny one by one using hot glue gun. See the picture. Use a black Sharpie to draw the eyes, nose, and mouth.

Finished!
